Where Support Meets Momentum
We meet each person where they are, building momentum through personalized, compassionate care. Whether through Applied Behavior Analysis or Shared Living Services, we help individuals move forward with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Shared Living
What is Shared Living?
Shared Living provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to live in a family-style home with a trained caregiver who offers daily support. We focus specifically on Host Home Services, where the caregiver welcomes the individual into their own home and supports their daily needs, goals, and preferences.

What are the Benefits?
Shared Living offers more than just a place to live — it creates a real home and a real future. Individuals in host homes experience the stability, connection, and personal attention that larger facilities often cannot provide. They have the opportunity to build lasting relationships, strengthen daily living skills, participate fully in community life, and work toward greater independence at their own pace. The Host Home model promotes a better quality of life by surrounding individuals with natural supports, consistent encouragement, and a family environment where they are seen, heard, and valued every day. Shared Living empowers individuals to not only meet goals, but to truly thrive.
What Makes us Different?
At The Momentum Project, individuals are never just placed, they are thoughtfully matched with host homes that fit their lifestyle, needs, and goals.
We believe that the right environment can change the entire direction of a person’s life. That is why we invest time in careful matching, ongoing training, and hands-on support long after placement. Our approach is personal, not transactional. We get to know every individual and every host home beyond paperwork, because real progress starts with real connection. We focus on quality over quantity which creates shared living experiences where individuals can build lasting skills, meaningful relationships, and a true sense of belonging, not just for now, but for life.

Applied Behavior Analysis
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of behavior. A behavior analyst completes a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) to identify the reasons behind challenging behaviors and determine effective strategies for behavior change. Based on the results, the behavior analyst develops a Behavior Support Plan (BSP) focused on teaching replacement skills, reducing problem behaviors, and promoting positive outcomes. Ongoing support is provided through direct implementation by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), caregiver training, and regular supervision to ensure consistency, progress, and generalization of skills across home, community, and other natural settings.
What are the Benefits?
ABA provides individuals with the tools they need to communicate effectively, develop daily living skills, build social connections, and increase independence. Through personalized, goal-driven programs, individuals learn skills that improve quality of life and reduce barriers to success. ABA services are structured to promote real-world application, ensuring that progress made during sessions carries over into everyday life.

What Makes us Different?
Our focus is on effectiveness and real results — not just delivering hours.
Every Behavior Support Plan is developed to be practical, meaningful, and built around strategies that lead to measurable progress. We believe that success comes from quality programming, strong collaboration with caregivers, and consistent, focused implementation.
Who is Eligible?
ABA services are available to adults with developmental disabilities who are approved for services through Missouri’s Medicaid waiver programs and live in the St. Louis metro area.
