Our Why
We believe momentum makes life easier.

Progress does not always start with something big. It often begins with a small win, showing up, learning a new skill, feeling understood. When individuals have the right support, those small wins start to stack. That’s momentum.

Momentum creates movement. It turns daily struggles into steps forward. It builds confidence, fosters independence, and creates a sense of purpose. When someone feels they are moving, even slowly, life becomes more manageable, more hopeful, and more fulfilling.

At The Momentum Project, we believe every individual deserves the chance to feel that progress. We exist to create the kind of support that moves people forward, not just through services, but through meaningful connection, personalized care, and a belief in what’s possible. Because when you build momentum, everything gets easier.

Who Are We
The Momentum Project is led by Kim Dowling, a lifelong advocate for individuals with disabilities. The foundation of The Momentum Project is both professional experience and personal connection. Kim is a proud sibling to her brother Sean, who has Down syndrome and autism. He has shaped how she sees the world, what she values, and how she understands and connects with individuals with disabilities. With over a decade of experience, Kim has worked alongside individuals and families across many settings. Through that work, she has come to believe that momentum changes everything. With the right support, even the hardest days can become stepping stones toward independence, understanding, and a better quality of life.
